GAH! I do seriously suck, don't I?

My apologies for so long since an update! I ended up slammed by 3D projects, and, so I've got this pile of 2D art building up waiting for a new scanner, which is still not obtained. =(

I commit to rectifying this, much sooner than later, and, feel awful about not keeping up properly. When new scanner is obtained, there are many arts waiting to be posted. I fear I'll never catch up properly with comments =(

I tend to claim it's the inner Shoggoth. ; ) Thanks very much, Lovecraft's a incredibly inspiration, and I try my best to do him justice. I'm planning to update soon, as I'm seriously behind.

You have so much cool stuff. Your style and your subject seem to match so well - the illustrations of the Mythos, Tash, and creations of Lewis Carroll are amazing! However, I didn't come here to rave about your art, which I could easily do. I came here because your username is 'tekelili'. Someone said something to me and I'm trying to get to the bottom (such as it is) of what this means. I don't think Poe ever came out and said what it means, and I can't begin to comprehend what Lovecraft meant by adopting the cry. You seem like a busy sort of guy, but I'd be really happy to read what you think it's about. If anything.

Hi there- I've not had much time for DA in a while, but, was trying to catch up on some comment here. I really do need to update. Thanks much for the kind words. =)

What I know about "Tekeli-li"- The theory that I've heard that makes the most sense is that it's supposed to be ';pidgin Polynesian', possibly a corruption of "tiki" and "lili", meaning an angry god. This one seems pretty likely. The other theory I've heard on it is that it involved Poe's mother and her acting, as she was once in a play called "Tekeli". Neither of those are proven by his own words, but I think either are likely possibilities. =)

Well I'll be. The one about Poe's mom is new to me, how interesting... I may do some digging on those two. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate you getting back to this!
